“In the Steppes of Ulan Bator” for VOGUE Brazil – June 2010
Amazing beauty Editorial with the Danish model, Pernille Moeller. The photographer Benjamin Kanarek created a stunning visual, I just can´t take my eyes of it.
Ulan Bator is located in north central Mongolia, the city lies at an elevation of about 1,310 metres (4,300 ft) in a valley on the Tuul River. The Mongolian inspired make-up and styling are just perfect.

It’s too bad they didn’t use a Mongolian model. I’m always ambivalent about white appropriation in fashion. Looks stunning, but I think it would have looked even more stunning on a member of that culture.
