A slap in the face for Society

I´m a huge fan of great drawings and illustrations, especially those expressing some great satire. The Polish artist Paul Kuczynski (he needs to improve his website), has a great hand, not to mention his great mind. Take a minute to analyse each of the following images, they all have a great cause and a truthful message behind.

In my opinion, his work is very well done in terms of colours, form and production. There is a social political commentary communicated and it is simply obvious. Love it!

These images definitely make you think about society, environment and what is really going on.
What´s your favorite “message”?
Enjoy.

Do not waste your time on Social Questions. What is the matter with the poor is Poverty; what is the matter with the rich is Uselessness.

  1. Very deep illustrations. I couldn’t pick favorite. Unfortunately they are all too real yet sad to like one over the other. I hope this reaches the masses of society, everyone should be compelled to stop and think, then try to make a change.

  2. Hmmm…. Well, unfortunately, I can see a little of myself in the image of the child with the expensive toy car putting out a hand to keep the poor kids away from it….*quietly pushes camera bag under table with foot*… I just had my car broken into and while the thieves got absolutely nothing out of my car, I have to pay to have it repaired. I live in a city that has been depressed since the 70s and is just beginning to find it’s footing. Only it’s the rich that are providing any traction in town. Rich/Poor, not much in between. I’m definitely not one of the rich people, but I sure feel that way compared to what I see around me. And I need to get rid of some of my “stuff” so I can put my outstretched arm down.

this is some seriously good art. out here most galleries still love charcoal sketches, women in shapes, and pretty flowers. art is political. and there’s no two ways about it.
    thanks for sharing this.
