12/31/2011 by chicquero

Considering we founded our blog this year, all images are related to our posts. It has not been such a long time, but we already built a huge archive full of great imagery! We would like to thank you all for really giving us the chance of showing you our vision of […]

Champagne meets art!

12/31/2011 by chicquero

WELCOME 2012! Zarb is a very interesting champagne brand from France. Zarb is French slang for bizarre (not surprised), and so are their incredible bottles. The design is very unconventional for  what you usually expect! The brand  was introduced by the Amsterdam-based communications agency THEY.  The bottles were turned into a creative medium by asking different artists to design their own bottle.  The artists were given complete freedom to create their fashionable bottle. Zarb is slowly expanding its distribution around the globe, I’m sure  they are going […]

Every single angle can be art.

12/29/2011 by chicquero

Mr. Philipp Klinger This is a collection created by Philipp Klinger (he’s nothing but a genius photographer) that showcases architecture in a very geometric way, mixing shapes, patterns, textures. Mr. Klinger travels the world seeking great angles and different kinds of inspiration. He’s not all about geometry, this is just a side of his work, he’s also totally into nature and the city. It’s quite impressive. Love the lines, swirls, angles, the chosen spots, his prospective when shooting… eye candy! […]

Opposite attraction

12/29/2011 by chicquero

I believe unresolved patterns attract In America (and all over the world), the chasm between rich and poor is growing, the Clash between conservatives and liberals is strengthening, and even good and evil seem more polarized than ever before. At the heart of this collection of diptychs is my desire to remind us that we were all equal, until our environment, circumstances, of fate molded and weathered us into whom we have become. “Created equals does not airbrush out the scars […]

He understands beauty in a very particular way where beauty meets art. Faces turn out into real masterpieces! “Straulino’s pictures are unique. Another minimal shot of other random spots.

12/25/2011 by chicquero

I know almost everybody is still in the Christmas mode but when I saw Josef Schulz´s work I fell in love (deeply in love) that I had to show his simple, minimal and gorgeous imagery. It reminds me of  German photographer Klaus Leontjew (we already posted his work) but very particular and unique. Here is a mixed selection of works from his “Sachliches” and “Formen” groups of work. In these works he photographs actual industrial architecture and edits in order to place these buildings in a […]

“Roll Out the Red“ Fabulous model Katja Verheul in a fashion Ménage with her Santas, apparently, she was not a very good girl this year. They were shot (in North Pole) by the British photographer Yuval Hen. Temps Libre You know when you wake up with a song stuck on your head and literally can’t stop singing it? That’s what happened to me this morning and not that I don’t like the song I’ve been singing all day long, because I really do (poor neighbors), but I’ve never paid full attention to the lyrics and today I did. For some reason I realized that was cool and inspiring for the day… We’d better think about the things […]

Infra Speaking of spectrum of different lights (well, I guess for some reason we’re inspired by this topic today since the post before this one is a fashion editorial with some particular nuances of lighting) I was completely amazed by photographer Richard Mosse‘s work. For centuries, the Congo, Africa has compelled and defied the Western imagination. This series called “Infra” brings to this subject the use of a discontinued military surveillance technology, a type of color infrared film called Kodak […]
