Beyond talented Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf didn’t mind getting outrageous (and super over, which I love!) with this fashion editorial for Elle Magazine. Shot at the luxurious Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, the spread, which is entitled “Lof der Zotheid”, or in English “The Praise of Folly”, captures a distillation of wild and merry party goers who are involved in an extravagant, vaudevillian and anything-goes celebration. Mr. Olaf’s busy set is taken over by clownish/victorian characters who are glammed up in the most exuberant and over the top make-up and costumes. Freaking stunning!
