Wonderland (A visit to a minuature fantasy)
The following WonderLand series was shot by the photographer Aimishboy, using a simple and elegant artificial lighting and household objects (from vegetables to plastic bags).
The photos are shot (mostly) in a miniature studio on his kitchen’s table with a Canon EOS 60D Camera, and a Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens and Flashes, they are real and NOT a digital manipulation.
The small models were found in his apartment and on plants outside his window, none of them was hurt during shooting.

Okay, right, so I hate bugs – loathe them actually. I know, I know they are beautiful creations, but I just can’t stand the thought of them anywhere near me
That said – I really loved the pictures. Surprisingly so actually considering my bug phobia.
My favorite is the lizard licking it’s lips (although the lizard isn’t technically a bug, right?) – That somehow was very me.
And the one lizard’s small critter is the other girls caramel latte, right?

Some bug I love. Some bugs I hate. My reasons for the love and hate relationship, I’m sure most everyone can relate! LOL! (Pst! I love lady bugs, but who doesn’t and I hate wasps… Nasty!)
I just built my love and hate relationship with bugs… before was just the hate part. But looking at those bugs in this series makes me wonder why not love them as well… they look quite photogenic! Thx again, Ledia!

These are beautiful. I’ve always loved the Praying Mantis (is it preying or praying? Its a double entendre..) but somehow he almost “humanized” all of the bugs in this set.
Amazing. I hate bugs, but this makes them look so beautiful. Great photography. Good post as always.
