Photographer Lior Nordman shot a very provocative and controversial editorial for Israeli fashion magazine Belle Mode. The spread was a way to protest against the infringement on the rights of women on religious grounds
In Israel (some areas) women are forced to seat in the back of the bus to create separation between men and women, in some circles they are not allowed to speak publicly and sing.
“This particular editorial is talking about a very hot topic in the Israeli news, making a statement that a woman’s sexuality is something to adore and not to hide at the back of a bus. The photographer said he is shooting a lot of sexy women and has no trouble controlling his urges as should be the orthodox Jews who claim that women make them betray their belief (and that’s why they are trying to hide and repress women under the excuse of modesty and respect).”
“In Jerusalem and some orthodox areas around the country, women are photoshopped out of signs and posters (fashion brands, movies, services, etc..).”

Thx a lot!!!!
Interesting, I did not know women were treated this way in Israel. This really is too bad. I hope this photo campaign helps them to find their voice.
I hope so too, Helen!
