The very talented photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten released her latest series titled “Mothers + Daughters.” Julia portrays the complex and sometimes challenging relationships between a mother and her daughter through this series. It is both documentary and biographical in nature; as it illustrates memories of her own two sisters’s relationships with their mother, and even her mother’s relationship with her mother. Julia cast real mother and daughter pairs herself and by shooting them in their own environments, was able to show the dynamic essence of their emotional bond. Beautiful work, different perspective!

What an awesome post! I really like the colour combination and mood creations in all of her photos although I have to admit I am quite partial to the one in the kitchen – distance and closeness and unspoken words and stories: very intriguing!
