Wow… there’s something about the British that makes them sartorial sensations (think: prim hats, demure gloves, liberty pattern). So when something even as tiny as stamps come out, you can expect big names to jump on. The Great British Fashion Stamp Set, launched by The Royal Mail service, honors 10 top fashion houses from England, including amazing Alexander McQueen, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, and the like.
The entire series was created by London-based graphic designer Johnson Banks, who worked together with sought-after fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø. The duo used live models to created dynamic postures and a sense of movement on the stamps, then later removing them from the final shot. The end result?… you´re about to check!
