Hilarious and grotesque in the same instant, these “Valentines Day,” series caused somewhat of an emotional response by the viewer. Wes Naman has been a self taught photographer of ten years before graduating from commercial photography in his home in North Carolina. Since moving to Albuquerque he has been an assistant to photographers such as Chip Simons and Robert Reck before deciding to start his own company, Naman Photography. In between working as a photojournalist for the weekly Alibi, freelancing in commercial photography as well as advertising and stock photography, Wes manages to work on fine art projects to display at galleries. I love these! Awesome pictures.
these are wicked and brutal i love the harsh contrast of the color and the messy wet texture against clean white things too cool
Since he stuck with the passive, low-velocity, type blood spatters and not the medium-velocity, baseball bat inflicted type spatters, these pictures do, indeed, portray loving, healthy relationships in which each partner bleeds for the other. Very touching,
With latex gloves, that is.
