Glamorama Benjamin Eidem & Valerie Van der Graaf were shot by one of Chicquero´s fav photographers Miles Aldridge and styled by Shun Watanabe for Vogue Hommes Japans Spring/Summer 2012. Makeup by Lloyd Simmonds. We were so delighted by starring at the images that we wanted more than five shots… however the story was told beautifully and the work was amazingly done! A finding of lack of mens rea (guilty mind) is the obvious finding. Kemp J. Kemp >>>YOU MAY ALSO […]
One of our fav photographers of all time Miles Aldridge explores the theme of “artist and model” for his photobook. Love the fact that Kristen McMenamy is “the star”, she’s so unique and intriguing and also happens to be Aldridge’s wife. The book is a collaboration with painter Chantal Joffe, featuring watercolor and oil paintings, as well as ink . A must have for all photography, fashion and art lovers. Check it out! “Reason is powerless in the expression of Love”. Rumi

What can we say?… Miles Aldridge is absolutely fabulous! He is such an icon of contemporary photography. With his surrealism and love of saturated colours, he has collaborated in great great shape to this editorial Bang-Bang for Número Magazine. Playful, colourful, fun besides stunning! “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life”. Henri Matisse

This editorial was shot by magnificent photographer Miles Aldridge for Vogue. It’s called Cat Story and was inspired by his mother-in-law who he saw putting food out and then watched as numerous cats came out from behind hedges. Miles work is always so insane, he usually have unique and super nice sets built just for the shoots, his details and colours are impecable combinations. Oh my, another amazing work! Cat got your tongue?
Brazilian top model Caroline Trentini is the blonde bombshell in this editorial, and expertly succeeds at looking quite clueless in the kitchen shot by british photographer Miles Aldridge. With a bored expression and glazed-over eyes (which we loved), this hysterical housewife finds herself exasperated on a cluttered countertop while baking a cake that ends up caving in. Found in Vogue Italia, Home Works references the Stepford Wives stereotype in a way that is simultaneously delightful and demonic…Beyond gorgeous! Insane mix of vibrant […]
